    • Maddonna: American Life (Maverick) Minimal blips & squelches don't quite compensate for the directionless rap tirade in this latest incarnation. But who cares what people think when you've got a brand new mini?
    • Plummet: Damaged (Serious) Trance revisited with new mixes and more drop down's than Jordan's pants, DJ X & Nikki show this track has a long life ahead of it.
    • Blur: Out Of Time (Food) Marking the subtle return of a less angry version of Britpop's prime movers less one. Growing up can be painful but good.
    Those tunes you love but still don't know what they are!...
    • Room 5 ft. Oliver Cheatham: Make Luv (Positiva) The sweet smell of success is deservedly so for this lot, even if the Lynx scent isn't your thing.
    • 50 Cent: In Da Club (Shady) Known to his peers as "Small Change", 50 Cent makes up the full shilling with the Beyonce Knowles vocal version of this stunning single.
    • David Gray: Be Mine (East West) A deeper, darker vibe than this album's predecessor, but equally moving and inspirational.

    This week's Featured Tag Chart Track
    Planet Funk "Who Said" (Illustrious) - release date: 14 April 03
    "Chasing The Sun" came into our lives a few summers ago and blissed out all who subsequently heard it on any of the plethora of chill out compilations around. So to some it was a surprise to hear this pop-punk rant of a track from Alex Neri and his italian chill-mongers. "Who Said" is a blistering crossover smash that is ready to blow open the genre barriers. Dan Black (Par-T-One) provides the brash vocals for this anti-slave wage offering, reminiscent of the rhythmic aggression of the likes of Audio Bullys, and looks certain to put Planet Funk in good stead of their forthcoming album' Non Zero Sumness'  reaching the status of "Essential Album to Have 2003".  Here's hoping Gordon Brown buys a copy.
