The Shazam music database
Shazam currently has over 2.2 million tracks on its database. We add more than 5,000 tracks every week, including pre-release tracks and some vinyl. Having your music on our database allows anyone with an interest in your artist's music to know more about the track, and how to buy it.
We have existing agreements with these organisations.

How do I get my music on the Shazam music database?
It is quick and easy! All you need to do is mail or courier your music to Shazam, and we will take care of it from there. Please mail to:
Shazam Entertainment Ltd
Charles House
4th Floor, Block F
375 High Street Kensington
London W14 8QH
Send us a copy at the same time as you contact radio stations & press, and we will upload it to our searchable database. Shazam does not charge the record labels for this service. If you have a (pre)release schedule, please email it to Andrew Jeffreys, andrew.jeffreys@shazamteam.com.
We accept music on a Redbook formatted CD (TOC w/run times, etc., just as it would be sold in any retail outlet) or WAV format on CD-R. Shazam currently does not process vinyl, DAT, mini-discs or cassettes. Music in formats different from WAV (e.g. mp3) generates fingerprints of inferior quality, often resulting in no recognition or a false positive.
Please include as much data about the artist, product, tracks, proposed or actual release date, etc. as is available at the time you send the product to us. The more data you send us, and the more accurate it is, the better the user experience and the likelier an eventual purchase.
